Scott has built networks in Indiana since the dial-up era and co-founded FD-IX after growing ORI.NET from a rural WISP into a regional fiber and wireless carrier. At the exchange he steers strategic finance, customer advocacy, and day-to-day business operations.
Away from the rack rooms, Scott and his wife Misty enjoy travelling with their ever-expanding pack of grandchildren and dogs.

An Indiana University graduate, Mark oversees the physical build-outs that keep the FD-IX fabric resilient—from new cross-connects to 400G ring upgrades. He coordinates fiber crews across the Midwest with the same precision he once brought to tower work.
A lifelong Indiana Pacers fan and music devotee who brings methodical attention to detail from years of tower construction to every network deployment.

Justin's résumé spans three decades of backbone design, consulting through MTIN/J2SW, and evangelizing best practices on his industry blog and podcasts. At FD-IX he drafts the distributed 100 G/400 G fabric and drives security initiatives such as RPKI.
Married and a dedicated toy collector, Justin shares his home—and desk—with a rotating cast of cats and a dog who occasionally star on his social feeds.
Co-Founder & Interconnection Strategy Lead
Mike founded Intelligent Computing Solutions in northern Illinois to solve his own broadband shortfall, then turned that entrepreneurial energy toward launching FD-IX. His focus today is brokering new PoP expansions and cultivating relationships with CDNs and hyperscale clouds.
When he is not talking ports and prefixes, Mike is at home in DeKalb with his wife and their child.

Mike is the first handshake many members experience. Drawing on a background in data-center compliance and uptime services, he translates complex port and transport options into clear business outcomes and keeps prospective peers moving smoothly from quote to LOA.
Mike and his wife Susan are now empty-nesters; when not closing deals they chase the next live concert or roller-coaster drop.
Engineering & Network Development
Engineer focused on the security and infrastructure upkeep that keeps FD-IX running smoothly. Ishmeet also built and maintains the new FD-IX website, bringing the same methodical precision to code that ensures reliable network operations.
A Purdue student who finds his passion in the work itself—whether that's software engineering, DevOps, or Linux system administration.
